Back to work!
With vacation well over, it is back to work! The students have mostly returned to campus. The university is coming to life once again. The freshmen class has orientation on Sunday. That's when we'll meet them for the very first time. Many of these students enter their freshmen year with all good intentions, but only about 1/3 to 1/2 will graduate with the major they had originally declared. How many 18-year olds really know what they want to do for the rest of their lives anyway? Classes will start on Monday!!

Uh, freshmen..they can be refreshing and frustrating at the same time..
They sure can! Although, so far, the freshmen did much better on their first quiz than did the upperclassmen. Maybe over the summer, the upperclassmen forgot how to study.
